The Design of a Virtual Prototyping System for Authoring Interactive Virtual Reality Environments From Real-World Scans

Abstract

This paper presents a virtual prototyping system that supports authoring interactive VR environments from real-world scans. The system helps bridge captured physical spaces and interactive virtual experiences, enabling users to build VR content more efficiently from scanned environments. The work contributes to immersive content authoring by integrating scene capture, prototyping, and interaction design into a unified workflow.
