VRFromX: From Scanned Reality to Interactive Virtual Experience with Human-in-the-loop

Abstract

This paper presents VRFromX, a framework for transforming scanned real-world environments into interactive virtual experiences with human involvement in the loop. The work focuses on how captured reality can be extended into richer VR experiences by allowing human-guided authoring and adaptation. It points toward more accessible pipelines for building immersive content from existing physical spaces.
