pARametric: Empowering In-Situ Parametric Modeling in Augmented Reality for Personal Fabrication

Abstract

This paper presents an augmented reality system for in-situ parametric modeling aimed at personal fabrication scenarios. The system allows users to create and modify parametric models directly within real-world environments, reducing the gap between digital design and physical making. The work demonstrates the potential of combining AR and parametric modeling for situated design and fabrication workflows.
